The Parallel Economy — For People

Commerce that reaches you.
Care that is care.

The Architecture of Dependency and Autonomy™ is a framework that measures the gap between what institutions collect and what reaches the person at the end of the wire. That gap has a name: Ghost Load™. This site gives you tools to measure it in your own life — and to find providers who have eliminated it from theirs.

The Framework — Plain Language

The Problem Has a Name

Every time you pay for something — health insurance, rent, a prescription, a utility bill — a portion of what you pay never reaches the service you thought you were buying. It gets absorbed along the way: by administrative overhead, executive compensation, platform fees, middlemen, compliance layers, and institutional friction. This absorption has always existed. What was missing was a word for it and a way to measure it.

Ghost Load™ is the name. It is the gap between what you pay and what you receive. In engineering, it is called a parasitic load or vampire load — power consumed by a system that produces nothing useful. The same pattern operates in every major sector of American economic life.

The formula is simple: G = L − N. Ghost Load equals Total Load minus Necessary Load. The Necessary Load is what it actually costs to deliver the service. Everything above that is Ghost Load™.

Dependency is structural, not personal

The framework's central finding is that dependency is not a behavior or a character trait. It is a structural position produced by the regulatory architecture around you. The institution does not serve you — it requires your dependency to justify its own existence. That is the design, not an accident.

Autonomy is also structural

The opposite of structural dependency is a node that generates its own stability without requiring external validation to remain coherent. This site helps you move toward that position — one transaction, one provider, one category at a time.

The Parallel Economy™

The Parallel Economy™ is not a movement, not a black market, not an opposition to anything. It is what becomes available when a person or entity chooses to exchange outside the extraction architecture. Dollar in, dollar out. No Ghost Load™ layer in between.

At the individual level it is simple: you find a provider who has been independently verified to operate without hidden extraction. You pay what the service is worth. You receive the service. Both sides of the exchange leave whole.

At the institutional level, MARLOWE Certification™ is the verification mechanism. Certified providers have documented — through an independent Ghost Load™ audit — that their operational architecture delivers at least 67 cents of every dollar to actual service. The TRU Geometry™ seal is the proof.

Extraction coefficients are the framework's published per-category Ghost Load™ rates, derived from the Architecture of Dependency and Autonomy™ audit grid. Your actual extraction may vary based on specific providers and your state.

This audit is a recognition instrument. It gives you a documented baseline for your household Ghost Load™. The Hyacinth Fund™ is the framework's direct-restitution vehicle, funded as the licensing flow from MARLOWE Certification™ comes online. Your audit is on the record the moment you run it.

Six Criteria for Craftsmen & Service Providers

These are the six structural criteria that define a provider operating in the Parallel Economy™. A provider who meets all six produces autonomy outputs. Their clients leave whole.

Criterion 1
Attribution
The provider is the source of the service they sell. There is no undisclosed middleman between the provider and the client, and no undisclosed extraction layer between the payment and the service delivery. What you pay for is what they do.
Criterion 2
Service Over Extraction
The provider's revenue model is built on delivering value, not on maintaining client dependency. They do not require you to keep coming back to sustain their income. Their business model works best when your problem is solved.
Criterion 3
Human Sovereignty
The provider's services increase your capacity to operate independently. They do not lock you in, create artificial switching costs, or require you to remain a customer to preserve access to your own data, records, or outcomes.
Criterion 4
Energy Transparency
The provider's operations are visible. Their pricing is transparent. Their cost structure is legible to the people they serve. There are no hidden fees, no spread pricing, no rebate arrangements that redirect value away from the client.
Criterion 5
Deterministic Continuity
The provider delivers what they promised, when they promised it, at the price they quoted. The outcome of engaging them is predictable. There are no surprise charges, no scope creep without consent, no post-service billing shock.
Criterion 6
Settlement Integrity
When the engagement is complete, both parties leave whole. The provider received fair payment for honest work. The client received the service they paid for. There is no residual extraction, no lingering obligation, no manufactured ongoing relationship that benefits only the provider.

The Registry Is Building

MARLOWE Certification™ opened for first-cohort applications on May 22, 2026. The certified provider registry is accepting applications across all provider categories — pharmacy, banking, healthcare, legal, trades, food, insurance, financial advisory, and more.

Certified providers have completed the Ghost Load™ Entity Audit and passed the seven-gate certification pathway. Every certified provider is listed publicly. Certification is not purchased — it is earned through the audit.

For Consumers

You never pay for certification. Providers pay to be certified and listed. Your access to the registry is free.

For Providers — Join the Parallel Economy™

The Seal Returns Commerce to the Craftsman

If you operate a practice, a business, or a service that delivers what it promises at a price that reflects actual work — the MARLOWE Certification™ is your market signal. It connects you to consumers who are actively choosing non-extractive providers. It documents your structural integrity in a way that distinguishes you from consolidated corporate chains that cannot match the standard.

The certification process starts with a Ghost Load™ Entity Audit — a forensic audit of your own operations that you run on your own systems. Zero external access. 48 hours from submission to determination.
